    Lavender Sky

Taste the air            of a lavender sky
Silhouetted birds     upon God's wings fly

Frosty diamonds       painted on leaves that fall
Indebted with gold   from chilly winter's call

Hallow globe            as night time quakes
Accoladed scene       as lavender sky wakes ©2008

    Celtic Dreams

My mind consents to fog drizzled dreams
    Encased around night time schemes

    Repository of unconscious desires
Granting life to time that can't transpire

    Golden glow of midnight moon
Painting the leaves that have been strewn

    Celtic charms dance their tune
Vanishing stress from nerves that are immune

Love drenched in music of lore
Spew the notes upon oak floors

Dreams cast their nets upon life’s ocean
Celtic tunes invade the dark in complete devotion ©2008

    Endure

    Sometimes I forget to endure
When I no longer count the candles upon the cake
One more year has made the score
Two more friends I've greeted at my door
    Open hands I can give
Moving day to day to live
It has served me well to greet
Those who souls I have the chance to meet
If time is something you can spare
Please stop by and let me show you that I care ©2008

Fly Over Rainbows in the Sky

    Fly my pretties, fly
        over rainbows in the sky
Ruby red slippers can only stride
on yellow bricks that have been applied

    Judy Garland made the trip
visiting a Munchkin and a Witch
Storms of life bellows clouds in the sky
        allowing trips over rainbows thereby

Why o why cant life storms
        transform rainbows to conform
Blue Birds and Slippers may be the clue
        of how she flew

But if I could fly … I would over rainbows in the sky. ©2008

    Road Warrior

Road Warrior tricks the clock that ticks
Miles of flight champion the cause
One more client on this day's call
Memory of miles is printed on the airline ticket slip

Grander of flight through heavens gate
Clouds wisp by with amazing rate
Road Warrior is on the trip to share
Client will know the Warrior does care

The pitch is made with much fan fare
Dog and pony show caused all to stare
Wrap up was done and quick exit through entry door
Now is time for the phone to ring at the company store

One last flight is in the fix
Road Warriors stomach feels empty and sick
A quick hot dog will do the trick
Last boarding call is running awfully quick

Last flight home leaves Road Warrior depleted
Clock strikes 12 as the Warrior enters his door
A night of sleep can not be ignored
Only dreams of sales is what's in store

Quick dreams will be his fate
Next flight scheduled at eight ©2008

Married the little girl that I played with in grade school while growing up. We are still married to this day. Time surely travels at the speed of light! Seems like yesterday.

Graduated from High School ... What a day to celebrate! High School was an event in my life that wasn't the best and I was very glad it was over with. Seemed to be a very stressful time both with school and fitting in with my class mates. I guess that is why I have attended any of my reunions ... ma

About Me

  • I would love to change people hearts to be more loving, caring, and understanding. We live in world where many people feel that it's thier job to judge others ... We have police officers, lawyers, and judges to do that ... so if your not one of these folks think before you speak and try to say something that is positive. Every person that you meet should feel better about them self after you have been with them ... guess what ... if they don't then you have missed an opportunity for true friendship. I will light the friendship candle once more and greet those at my front door.

Citizen Kane

Citizen Kane is often cited as being one of the most innovative works in the history of film. The American Film Institute placed it at number one in its list of the 100 greatest U.S. movies of all time in 1997 and again in the revised list of 2007. In a recent poll of film critics and directors conducted by the British Film Institute, Citizen Kane was ranked the number one best film of all time by both groups
