Canvas of Dreams
The canvas of emotions can no longer hold the paint
Compassion drips without constraint
Heavenly night will paint the dreams
Weaving together two hearts by the seams
Two living souls asleep under the night time air
Star Dust painting dreams that ensnare
Hunter Fan twirls their emotions
Casting their dreams upon life’s oceans
Pomegranate Candle burns its golden glow
Encasing their dreams in gold
Sleep they must as dreams are told
God paints the canvas to behold ©2010

just reading the poem you wrote here means you do understand the one you just read of mine..we speak the same language in many different tongues and ways…mine is about the falling in love just in a bit of an obtuse way!

@caligula6 - wonderful … thanks for stopping by and for your comment.
Dear Steve,
I love the equine imagery in “Sorry”. I remember the film as being somewhat sappy, but since you have a personal connection to “Love Story”, it means much more to you. “I will set sail upon tears that we have shared’ is my favorite line. “bear” in the first line of the last stanza is misspelled.
A Winter’s Day Walk is very sensual. Almost as if I’m walking alongside.
The imagery of the dripping paint in Canvas of Dreams is quite good.
