  • Swimming the Oceans so Blue

    I wonder what it’s like to dive the oceans that are blue
    I would swim with fish that display every color and hue
    I would visit the sand that is upon the ocean floor
    I would look inside a clam through its amazing door
    I would watch a sea turtle swim along the way
    I would enjoy the sounds of whales and what they have to say
    I would take every picture of the beauty of the ocean below
    I would share what the ocean has to show
    I will make this dream a very special goal
    I will surely find a scuba class and get enrolled
    I will make a dream of mine come true
    I will swim the oceans that are blue ©2008

  • Loving Memories

    The park seemed empty that special day

    We walked the path around the pond

    Holding hands as we found our way

    The mallard duck didn’t seem to mind

    As we walked by his pond

    The sun worked on the haze that day

    Water shimmered with the breeze

    I heard your words of love to say

    You wanted more this day

    The park bench by the foot bridge was begging us to rest

    The naked beauty of nature seemed to call

    View from this bench was the best

    As I hugged you around your waist

    You told me to relax you wanted to do the rest

    The breeze felt warm upon naked skin that day

    As you knelt to show your love to me in a special way

    The sounds of love seemed to fit with natures call

    As manhood’s dreams were drained this day by the pond

    Memories of our day will always be fond

  • My Father

    I knew him from a long time ago;
    The years ticked away I learned much from this man as my life begins to grow.
    I remember the Cub Scout Pack and the Pine Wood Derby Car;
    A silver car we raced it together to win the gold star.
    I remember how the man showed me how to bait a hook;
    Fish we did and fish we caught from the cold water of the brook.
    I remember the first time the man taught me how ride a bike;
    A few bruised knees and the red bike was mastered with a little fight.
    I remember the first time the man taught me a way to drive;
    He expressed the need for safety so that I would survive.
    The  years ticked away and the man is no longer here to stay.
    The man that I have known from long time ago;
    Was my father and I am missing him so! ©2008

  • Secret of Life

    Is two better than one?
    I asked the master of the game of life.
    Depends on the game sometimes two, sometimes three, sometimes maybe even less.
    Life seems so confusing the games that come our way;
    How to choose the one that will twirl our earth and make life fun this very day.
    The master bowed his head as if to listen;
    I saw in his eye some sparkle start to glisten.
    O my friend he said with a puff on his pipe;
    It’s not the games of life that make life fun;
    It’s the friends that add up to greet you and that alone adds up to be a great sum.
    I see what you’re saying I told the master of game of life;
    The friends we meet along the way;
    Grants us the opportunity to choose what should be done that day.
    Another puff of his pipe and smoke twilled around his head;
    I saw that glisten in his eye as the wisdom of the centuries was shed.
    You my friend have come a long way;
    To understand the importance of life on this day.
    So tell me master what is the most important thing for me to know;
    When I meet the next person on my journey of life what do I need to show?
    Most of all my friend is that everyone on this earth wants people to show them love;
    Starts within the soul of person that greets the next like the love of two white doves.
    The master laid his pipe along the limb of the old walnut tree;
    He brewed two cups of fragrant tea.
    Sugar or honey he asked as he set the cups upon the stump;
    I could smell the tea set before me and said two sugar lumps.
    The master leaned backed against the walnut tree;
    He rested his cup of tea upon his knee.
    He said, the people you meet; will not know who you are or why your even there;
    But before they leave they need to know that you care.
    The master sipped his fragrant tea;
    I then knew the secret of life and what had to be.
    I thanked the master for his kindness as I finished my last sip of tea;
    And walked down the path of richness that had been granted to me.
    The sun of the new day peaked its head upon my bed;
    As I awoke from the night of dreams that filled my soul with the love that needed to be fed.  Now as I meet new souls along life’s highway;
    You will know before you leave that I am one that truly cares.
    If you have some time for a visit please set down and I will brew us some tea;
    Would you like some sugar or honey if you please? ©2008

  • Love of My Beloved

    The 70s brought about a rock band;
    I loved the tunes and became a die hard listening fan!
    Fleetwood Mac rolled out the notes;
    And awesome sounds came from their musical throats.
    Upon this span of time this man fell in love;
    Testosterone raged a monk for my beloved.
    Tunes of Mac kept onward spinning;
    A first kiss of new born love was only the beginning.
    The kiss of love was just a stepping stone;
    As a much deeper love that had grown.
    So much more was needed than just a simple kiss;
    Fleetwood Mac Rumors played away as this man could only reminisce.
    The nights came and the nights went;
    With only dreams of empty love made me discontent.
    Then physical love came one spring night;
    Two souls met the needs of two and make things right.
    Fleetwood songs accompanied the two as clothes were shed.
    The all night love affair played out upon the bed;
    The souls of two knew that all was right;
    As their love was shared throughout the night.
    Fleetwood Mac tunes still play away to this day.
    Reminding this man of the love that two souls were allowed to convey.
    Time spins on by the tick of the clock.
    Each track of Fleetwood Mac seems to rock.
    Memories made in 70s will never stop. ©2008

  • The Last Dance in the Rain

    I extend my hand for the next dance in the rain
    We can twirl and spin and splash away
    And hope and pray that it will keep raining while we play
    Life is much to short to worry about the rain
    But I worry that the rain might stop before we have the last dance in the rain
    So rain on, rain on,
    We will enjoy each drop of rain that falls upon ©2008
  • The Piercing

    The day had come for the pointed pieces of steel;
    Two holes, three breaths, and some pain to feel.
    The steel now rests between the skin of this male.
    Held in place by two steel balls that finish the piercing detail.
    I think through all the pain,
    But never question the reason for this steel that I have gained.
    A goal of mine that came about;
    I am glad from my inner core without a doubt
    The piercing of living comes from inner desire within
    Detailed by the artist steel piercing of my skin. ©2008

  • Touch

    If time could pass without clock hands affecting
    Then touch would last without distressing
    We may tend to touch in creation
    But friendship is initially the instigation
    Without this firm foundation
    Then touch seems valueless and without subordination
    As time whips by in total disarray
    Allow touch to transpire as friendship is my desire ©2008

  • Gossamer Smoke Love

    She raises my spirits beyond yonder dreams so true
    Just by seeing her eyes of crimson blue
    Her stimulating smile frees me of all my fears for a long while
    It’s no wonder that I have easily fallen for you
    Your sweet charms and spells, causes my heart to swell
    With a canvas of emotions, I set assail on life’s ocean
    I cannot help but clearly see, she is the gossamer smoke the can never be
    She seems to fit so much better along your side
    But my desire is strong I must confide
    When the two of you kiss I try to find something amiss
    But she is so beautiful & kind
    No matter how hard I try to find
    There are no reasons for the two of you to not be
    I will live my life in dreams of extravagance
    Knowing that she has your love of elegance
    My ship has set sail for some distance shore
    Knowing that the two of you will be lovers forever more
    As my ship crests new waves along the way
    I thank the two of you for your friendships that will never stray ©2008

  • Woman and Man

    With dignity there was Woman and Man
    Perfection for eyes to see
    Uncovered by human hand
    Softness of skin shows her ability
    Walking with peace showing her femininity
    Strength and bravery shows his perseverance
    Walking with peace showing his masculinity
    Both bare their esteem
    Supplementary to each other
    Living out their dreams ©2008
