The Blackstone Merlot tasted sweet that wonderful night;
Just being with her for dinner was a diaphanous delight.
The waiter brought the orange glazed salmon over rice;
The potato oozed with butter that was baked twice.
Candle cast a gold warmth upon the table cloth that night;
Dinner allowed two friends to reunite.
I wanted to look into her eyes and feel her breath upon my face.
I wanted to lie down by the one I desire and submit a passionate embrace.
The candle upon the table was about spent;
When the decision to have desert was decided for this special event.
Crum Brulee’ was the ultimate choice for desert this day.
She ordered at the last minute coffee with Irish Cream Bailey.
The candle gave it’s all and flickered to a end;
Preparing a warm gold afterglow to the very end.
We walked out of the quaint restaurant holding hands.
How do I ask my friend for love so that she not misunderstand?
A few steps down the walkway the night seems filled with sounds.
The owl in a distant salt water pine could be heard all around.
The ocean waves lapped at the sea shore.
Sea Gulls were singing forever more.
I turned to my special friend and asked if she would desire more:
Time seemed to stop as I waited for an answer from the lady that I adore.
She bowed her head;
I felt the answer would be one that I would dread.
She spoke softly and whispered that a walk by the sea would be so nice;
I took her hand and her advice.
We took our shoes off and I rolled up my slacks.
Walked hand in hand as we made two sets of naked foot print tracks.
The waves teased us to tip toe closer to the sea;
Walk we did closer and closer and even closer and then run to flee.
But luck was on the side of the sea this night.
One greater wave caught us both and we were wet all right.
I hugged her close as we were drenched from head to toe;
Her skin felt warm and lovely as bent my head to kiss her neck below.
The beach was empty this very night.
Only the sounds of nature and glow of moonlight.
She whispered softly that she would like to swim.
And she unbuttoned my shirt as if the answer was yes to her whim.
I unhooked the latch upon her white lace dress;
The sounds of nature seemed awesome as we undressed.
The glow of moonlight upon her lovely breasts
I took her hand and we walked into Neptune’s bed that night;
The warm water glowed with gold and absolutely everything was right.
She wrapped her arms and legs around my naked soul;
The love this night was nothing but the best that two souls could extol.
With each rock of Neptune’s waves two lovers were granted one more second of play;
The unending tune of this Neptune’s unending song brought two lovers together this way.
The announcement of man and woman’s completed desires;
Filled the air with the sound of what had just transpired.
Two naked souls collapsed on that sandy beach;
The distant owl could be heard to screech.
Moonlight glow wrapped its hands around two satisfied souls of this dark night;
Neptune’s bed allowed two friends to reunite. ©2008

Abandoned Friendships
Scarecrow what have you scared away
Lonely man made of hay
Heart of stone paved with hate
Ridicules smile upon your canvas face
Many have walked down the yellow brick road
No one … not one … knows
The discarded friendships you make
I will not abandon you my friend
My friends too have all walked away
Now I know the reason for your smile ©2008 -
Tip Toe Tip Toe
Grass seemed cool under bare feet that night
Tip Toe, Tip Toe under the white star night
Coo of Morning Dove seemed to set the mood
Shimmer of light danced like rain upon the pool
Glistening like a diamond jewel
Creating a warm wet afterglow
The cosmos universe seemed to know
Two lovers’ hearts were being sowed
Treasures of life were being told
Lips whispered their tune of gold
As two lovers made their way along the Milky Way
They now live their life as one as they tip toe, tip toe everyday ©2008 -
The Tarnished Key
Pardon me if I am sentimental
For you were the one that has the key to my heart
According to my heart you were the one that was met for me
The love that first day was recorded by all the angels to see
Remember the blanket where we laid
Beside the lake on that spring day
The love that I expressed to you
Gave you the key to a heart that was true
Time has passed since that day
The key may seem some what tarnished to display
I guess maybe that is why you walked away
Have you found someone else and I have become the lonely castaway
The tarnished key will still unlock the heart that’s true
Forgive me for asking … do you hold someone else’s key to a love that is true?
The winds of time have scratched the shine
But the tarnished key will still open the heart of mine
I will wait to see if forgiveness can be
You see the seeds of love had been sowed by the angels
The only thing left is the tarnished key that is upon your table. ©2008 -
Long Distance Love
The beauty for what drives my life
Seems to bring me days of strife
I wonder upon a shooting star
This distance between two lovers is too far
The night skies filled with lightning and thunder
Has deepened my thoughts to your beautiful wonder
Is it God that is shedding his tears on window pane once more?
Grant this man some peace before I come knocking at heaven’s door
Surely one night alone with you in my arms
Would justify this strife that is way too long
The earth has spun once more
As this night comes to a close without the one that I adore
A new day is about to unfold
Your beauty will be mine in my heart I am told ©2008 -
What is it that you desire?
What is it that you desire?
I may not have much to offer, but you see you set my life on fire
So if it is chocolate, laughter, wine, or just an encouraging thought is on your mind
I surely could share these things with the one I love as we prepare to dine
Life is so short you see
So our two souls must agree
The grandfather clock ticks away the hours one by one
Our precious minutes should be filled with fun
Tell me my beloved what is it that you desire
Before our two souls give way to the countless hours ©2008 -
True Light
Who is that knocking upon my door as if to request
The midnight hour is late and my soul needs too rest
The night time moon glows through oak tree branches
Moving black shadows through my room as if their dancing
The grandfather clock chimes its familiar tune
As the pendulum slices through the glow of midnight moon
The knock this time upon the door
Bangs against my chest and creeks the boards on the bedroom floor
Who are you I ask?
And why are you here I ask?
The moan of something unknown to me
Drifts through my room and wraps its arms around me
Are you the devil of some unknown force?
That has come to claim my soul without recourse?
The clutches of evil embrace my essence
The cosmos universe that God alone controls has granted a guardian angel to be within my presence
The evil power of this night
Is about to see unfold the power of God’s true light
The shadows that danced upon my floor
Gave way to a new dawn that God has in store
The true light of the universe wraps its glow around this man’s living soul
I awake to the a new day as the grandfather clock chimes once more
I now know that God is truly in control. ©2008 -
Freedom
Life is what one makes it to be
As we live out our life with democracy
This is not about where I live or what party I believe
It’s about how we as humans can achieve
We all have hopes and dreams
And are met by the sweet freedom to fill our needs
But freedom is not free you see
Freedom has a cost for you and me
I am sure it all started back with the cave man you see
Who killed the T-Rex with a stick made from a tree
That day the early man won the freedom to stand
Not all stories end this way
However, it seems we are still fighting for freedom this way
Freedom itself has taken a hit
As we struggle to survive with evil along our side
Man and Woman will ensure that freedom will not be lost
The price would be too much at any cost
So when T-Rex comes to knock on your gate
I for one will do my all to save freedom before it’s too late. ©2008 -
Turtle Dove Love
I have experienced the beauty of making love to the coo of a turtle dove
Merlot sipped from German Lead Crystal Glass
As rhythms of “Dreams” played by Fleetwood Mac spill their tunes with class
Yesterday’s troubles and tomorrow’s cares will vanish for little while
Upon the tunes spun upon vinyl invade the quietness with notes that are worthwhile
The beat of love made this night to the coo of turtle dove
Brings life to the dreams of my beloved
When love is gone after the lights go down
Promise me you will love me till the last day comes around
Drift to sleep precious nighttime lover
As I spread the white cotton sheet cover
Sleep to the tunes that slip through the grandfather clock’s hands
Let “Dreams” of me take you to heaven’s seashore sand
We will wake to turtle dove coo
The start of a new day all anew ©2008 -
Milky Way Emporium Store
I explored the Milky Way Emporium Store for love last night
The shelves were filled with glitter and lights and ornamentations of awesome sights
I wondered down the isle of love looking for the one that I could love
The visitation seemed long as the clock of love ticked on
The commutations of humanization
Bewildered my soul that I surely on some sort of heavenly vacation
The clock of love ticked away the hours as I walked through this conglomeration of manhood desires
With all the examination
It only left me with a feeling of exasperation
I twisted and turned and heard the Grand Father Clock strike two
The models of love where dreams were made
Vanished and were taken out of the way
I turned to the one I left when I visited Milky Way Emporium Store
Caressed the skin of the lady that I adore
The Grandfather Clock struck its chime
As two lovers drifted asleep till the end of time. ©2008
