The Last Waltz
The moon swallowed the sun on our special day
Angels unfolded the dance floor of the Milky Way
Moon light affair waltzed into our life
As two lovers waltzed to celestial love of life
Time has ticked away the God given years
The two are still dancing through all the joy and tears
The love of two is played out day to day
One last waltz remains on the Milky Way
Only God knows the time and day ©2008

Thank you for the visit, comment, and sub.
This poem reminds me of times long lost, but never to be forgotten. It was a moment shared between two, as it would seem, “star-crossed lovers”
I still remember the days spent, and your words bring them back like a sudden flood from a broken dam.
Thank you,
-Dark Prince
lovely romantic fantasy poetry as usual =)
Once again, this is beautiful.
@CelticGypsy - Thank you for your comment.
Ryq: I did take this last batch of pictures. I used a Kodak Easy Share. It takes really good pictures. Would like a better camera but for now I have fun with this one. Judi

This is so beautiful. Thanks for the kind words. Judi
@Danth - Thank you Dan for your comments … we never know when we will never dance again do we. When we hear of someone leaving us … like more recently Paul Newman … we reflect how really mortal we truly are. Hope your week is filled with many smiles my friend.
@Gypsywings2fly - Thank you for you kind words to my poetry. I hope your week is filled with many smiles.
