  • Procrastination

Procrastination creeps and crawls into my mind
Living in my world so unconfined
Like a thief in the depressing night
    Fleece my dreams forthright

    Tomorrows will have to wait
Yellow roses have bloomed of late
    Fragrance invades my sensibility
Tomorrow’s dreams are hidden as a liability

Procrastination creeps and crawls into my mind
Living in my world just fine ©2008

  • @Alyxandri - From a workaholic it takes discipline to feel like I am accomplishing every thing I want to accomplish every day. I have been told I need to stop and smell the roses once in while by more than one person … so I am trying to let the parasite of procrastination into my busy life and not feel like I have become bitten by a terrible disease. LOL

  • Sad to report I too procrastinate sometimes I think its a disease…

  • @Adamission12 - May be a disease … but my wife wishes I would be infected with the bug … she thinks I I have to be working on something all the time or I am not happy. I think she is right! LOL I am trying to set aside some times where I am not doing anything … in other words procrastination. I find those times thinking about my next poem or some project I want to make with hot glass. LOL
