  • Tip Toe Tip Toe

Grass seemed cool under bare feet that night
Tip Toe, Tip Toe under the white star night
Coo of Morning Dove seemed to set the mood
Shimmer of light danced like rain upon the pool
    Glistening like a diamond jewel
    Creating a warm wet afterglow
The cosmos universe seemed to know
Two lovers’ hearts were being sowed
Treasures of life were being told
Lips whispered their tune of gold
As two lovers made their way along the Milky Way
They now live their life as one as they tip toe, tip toe everyday ©2008

    That was it right there…

  • Dear Steve,

First of all thank you for dropping by my site this morning and leaving a comment. Thanks especially for subscribing to my blog. I only post about once or twice a week now, but I try to make sure each entry is somewhat special.

I see you’ve only been blogging a month, so welcome to Xanga. I’ve met a lot of nice folks here in my four years as a Xanga blogger.

There are a lot of poets in cyberspace. Your blog is the first I think I’ve seen where each entry is a poem. I read your very first entry, and you begin your blog with a poetic introduction. How wonderfully original.

I like this poem, esp. the last four lines.

  • @baldmike2004 - Mike … thank you so much for responding  and for your comments. You are correct I have only been on XANGA for  a short time. I enjoy writing poetry, but I feel I am far from being a professional … I am needing direction and suggestions, so please don’t hesitate to be that critic if you have any ideas. Take care for now … hope your week is filled with many smiles.
