Freedom
Life is what one makes it to be
As we live out our life with democracy
This is not about where I live or what party I believe
It’s about how we as humans can achieve
We all have hopes and dreams
And are met by the sweet freedom to fill our needs
But freedom is not free you see
Freedom has a cost for you and me
I am sure it all started back with the cave man you see
Who killed the T-Rex with a stick made from a tree
That day the early man won the freedom to stand
Not all stories end this way
However, it seems we are still fighting for freedom this way
Freedom itself has taken a hit
As we struggle to survive with evil along our side
Man and Woman will ensure that freedom will not be lost
The price would be too much at any cost
So when T-Rex comes to knock on your gate
I for one will do my all to save freedom before it’s too late. ©2008

I love the word freedom I always think of Mel Gibson in Braveheart yelling it at the end… Good piece…
@Adamission12 - I had forgot about Braveheart until you mentioned it … that was a very emotional movie wasn’t it? Thanks for your comment my friend.
